Dill Sauce


INGREDIENTSdill-sauce
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon dill
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt to taste
  • freshly ground pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS
  • Melt butter over moderate heat (do not brown).
  • Add flour, whisk until well blended.
  • Add milk while stirring the flour mixture vigorously.
  • Stir until thickened, then stir in dill.
  • Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Season to taste.
