1) Mobile Warehouse Phones
As you all are aware, we have recently updated our phone system.
We have started to use cell phones in the warehouse for mobile access to the warehouse staff.
We have paired each of the mobile a mobile phone to a physical handset, when called, both the handset phone and the mobile phone will ring:
- The Freezer Mobile is paired with the CW Table handset.
- The Dry Mobile is paired with the OPS phone.
- The Shipping Desk Mobile is paired with the Shipping Desk handset.
- The Cooler Mobile is paired with the Bullpen handset.
There was an updated Extension Directory handed out last week that lists the extension numbers for these units.

2) Transferring an outside call to an internal extension.
If you want to transfer an outside number to another extension, it is best to use the Blind Transfer option to send the callers ID along with the transferred call.
With a normal transfer, the user that you are transferring the call to only sees your extension number on the phones screen, they can not tell that it is an outside call with this type of transfer.
With the Blind Transfer, the Caller ID is sent along so the person picking up the phone to answer the transferred call knows that it is not an internal extension calling and they will also see the Caller ID, so they possibly have an idea who's calling them.
To select the Blind Transfer button you need to press the option button ( see below, look for the red square), this will take you to the second page of the menu, this is where you will find the Blind Transfer button, labeled BlindXfer. Press this button and then dial the extension you wish the call to be transferred to.
3) Programming Personal Speed Dial Numbers
To program a phone number of extension onto one of your phones buttons for Sped Dialing, all you have to do is press down with a long press on the button you wish to program, after a moment you will see a Name and Number prompt on the screen letting you enter the details for the speed dial.
To remove a programmed number do a long press on the button in question, the same window will pop up, hit the two dot options button and then select Delete. This removes the programmed number.
