Fresh Herb Chicken Soup
- 3 lt Water
- 3 capfuls of Knorr chicken liquid concentrate base #02895
- 1 cups cooked basmati rice #02171
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup red onions, chopped
- 1 small carrot, shredded
- 1 cup roasted chicken breast, diced #59766
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley,
- chopped salt,
- pepper and lemon zest to taste
- In a pot, bring water to a boil then add chicken base, lower temperature to med-low and simmer.
- In another pan, combine celery, onion, carrot, chicken and herbs. Saute for 2 minutes.
- Add sauteed vegetables and chicken, lemon zest, salt, pepper and rice to the broth and simmer for another 10 minutes.
