Fresh Herb Chicken Soup

  • 3 lt Water
  • 3 capfuls of Knorr chicken liquid concentrate base   #02895
  • 1 cups cooked basmati rice   #02171
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onions, chopped
  • 1 small carrot, shredded
  • 1 cup roasted chicken breast, diced   #59766
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley,
  • chopped salt,
  • pepper and lemon zest to taste

 

DIRECTIONS

  • In a pot, bring water to a boil then add chicken base, lower temperature to med-low and simmer.
  • In another pan, combine celery, onion, carrot, chicken and herbs. Saute for 2 minutes.  
  • Add sauteed vegetables and chicken, lemon zest, salt, pepper and rice to the broth and simmer for another 10 minutes.
